Nutrition is an integral part of every day functioning in healthy patients, and it plays an even larger role in our critical patients. Nutrition is required for energy production, protein synthesis and repair of damaged tissue. This webinar will focus specifically on parenteral nutrition in small animal patients, including partial and total parenteral nutrition.

Dr Samantha Livingstone BVSc (hons) MANZCVSc (E&CC)
Samantha graduated from the University of QLD in 2011 with honours. She then went on to practice in small animal clinics in the north shore of Sydney for 2 years before moving to Darwin where working afterhours awakened her love of emergency and critical care. After moving back to Brisbane in 2015 she worked in afterhours clinics before starting at Brisbane Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in mid 2015. Since then Samantha has attained her memberships in Emergency and Critical Care and has found a true passion in caring for our Emergency patients. Samantha’s areas of special interest include trauma patients and toxicology.
