Anaesthesia in Patients with Cardiac Dysfunction
(inkl. USt.)
There are vast differences between the various types of cardiac disease, and a spectrum of pathology within each disease. Carrying out successful anaesthesia in patients with cardiac dysfunction requires an understanding of the pathophysiology of each disease and the impact of different anaesthetic techniques on the heart and the patient. In this seminar we will consider cardiac comorbidities in practical terms and use pharmacology to form a deeper understanding of the best ways to achieve anaesthesia in these patients.
